SPF4 Michael A. ClarkReflections on this veteran's military serviceSubmitted by Sheilah Nunes
The one thing that my brother told me was that after being over there and going thru all he did and saw he would never take anything for granted again. He appreciated everything that my parents did for him and he never understood before his time in the service how easy he actually had it at home
My brother was brought home after being born in late Oct. 1950 to a new house my parents had purchased in early October . Mike lived there his whole childhood until he was drafted into the army in 1970 . He came back to Lakewood and lived there for awhile to get settled back in normal routines and start work again. There are still relatives who live in Lakewood and have since they purchased the houses all at the same time. (Posted 2016) |
