EVENTS: Apr 09, 1968 SHELLBACK:Crossed the Equator (00° 00' S, 105° 22' E); Aug 02, 1968 Crossed the Equator (00° 00' S, 146° 35' E); Aug 21, 1968 Golden Dragon: Crossed the International Date Line (28° 53' S, 180° 00'E/W); Aug 26, 1968 Crossed the Equator (00° 00' N/S, 165° 37' W). My two sons were accepted and served in the US Sea Cadets while in High School. My dad and two uncles were in the Army during WWII where my uncle Oliver was KIA by the Japanese in the Philippines. My wife Pam lived in Lakewood with her mother and went to Lakewood High (Class of 1966). Pam and I were married in 1969 and purchased our home here in Lakewood. We raised our two sons here and they went to school in Lakewood and they both also rented and lived here upon graduation. My younger son bought two homes in Lakewood. (Posted 2016) |
