Our son SFC David J. Todd, Jr., was KIA on August 20, 2008, in Bala Murghab, Afghanistan-when he came to the aid of 12 soldiers. He received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, for his Heroism. “Home of the Free, One of the Brave”.

I, David Todd, Sr., was born in Long Beach, Ca and raised in Lakewood, California. After serving my country in the US Air Force, I moved to San Antonio, Tx with my wife, Mary. We brought our two children, Stephanie and David to visit my family and friends, throughout the years. We all enjoyed visiting neighboring cities near Lakewood, with our children. 

Our son was no stranger to Lakewood, many wonderful memories were made throughout his lifetime, when visiting California. He has family in Lakewood.
